One step at a time.

Hello friends,

I was thinking to day about dream jobs and how they affect a persons life for the better. We should all be going after our dream job and succeeding at it, don't you think we would all be a lot happier? Whenever I hear of someone who is doing what they love for a living it makes me so excited for them. The hard truth is sometimes we cant always get what we want! If it was up to me I would have a huge commercial studio in NYC and make millions in a year! But things just don't happen like that. So we make baby steps to our goals and dreams. Right now I am stuck in this very annoying (but needed) baby step process. I know where I want to be, I know where I was and now I know where I am in this adventure. I have to keep thinking I am one baby step closer than I was a year ago, and two years ago and so on. There is always going to be set backs and money will always be a issue, but for me doing what you love and struggling is a lot better than dreading work everyday just to get a good pay check. Please! I need to be sane. If you want to do what you love, your willing to work hard for it and that is what I am going to do. I know someday I will get there, its not right now and thats ok. I am still young, I have so much more to learn.

Self Portrait

So realized this afternoon that I have not done a self portrait since 2008! Woah! It is about time I did. It is import to do a self portrait every so often, whether its a painting or clay or just something that is a self reflection...I believe even a song or flower arrangement could be a self portrait of who you are. So I encourage you if you have not done this in a while YOU SHOULD! OK! Tell me which one of these you like best, I like the first one. Talk to you soon.

Ryan found this really funny soda at the grocery store called Delicious Ryan Beverage the other day. I thought it was great and had to photograph it! I found a short window of time yesterday to do this shoot, I am working everyday and I have been really sick this past week so I've been sorta a vegetable just laying around when I am home. But I am starting to feel better now....finally.

Memories

Hello lovely friends.
Brown sugar is one of those things that takes me back to a different time, like a song or movie or just eating a certain type of food. Even now a song came on Pandora that brings me back to my first weeks at Hallmark. Brown sugar brings me back to when I was a little girl and my mom and I would bake chocolate chip cookies. I would try to help best I could, although I am sure I just made a terrible mess of things. These are sweet reminders of how we have grown, not only physically but our personalities as well. The people we meet on our journey and the times they have shared with us are so sweet and unforgettable. Its bitter sweet really, time goes way to fast. I still have a hard believing that I am a married woman! I dreamt of this for so long, its so beautiful. I am so thankful for all the reminders we have, I pray I never forget the things that make me remember and I'll pray the same for you. Enjoy every moment of life ok? Don't ever forget to tell the ones you love how much the mean to you. I hope you all have a great night. :)
