Portland pt 1

/// 47
I went to Portland OR last weekend for my friends wedding and I was so excited to explore because I have heard so much about all the yummy places I should go to. I didn't have a ton of time but I made the most of what I did have.  I got up soooo early because of the time difference so I was out of the door by 8 am!

/// First stop: Blue Star Donuts.
wow.wow.wow.wow.
This was a blueberry, basil and bourbon melt in your mouth donut.

 I walked around the neighborhood and snapped away.

I stumbled into the ACE Hotel, I was like "Oh sweet! I wanted to see this"

I had some delicious Stumptown Coffee.....mmmmm.

Next: Powells Book Store.
This place is HUGE and amazing, I was looking at cookbooks for a good hour.

After I walked around that area I was ready to see Old Town, and had another donut but this time at VOODOO. I had to right?

KEEP PORTLAND WEIRD

I don't know about this one Portland...I feel like Minneapolis might trump you on this...WE have a bike highway. juuuuust sayin'.

THIS GUY! You guys, wow. Lets just take a moment and look at what is happening here. He has a whole office outside, including and modem and a printer. What? Why? WHY?

After I explored a bit, I wanted to relax for a bit before the wedding and my hotel room was the best place to do that, I had a yummy lunch, took a nap and just enjoyed the sun light and the warm breeze. It may have been one of my favorite parts of my trip, I was me time and it was so nice.

I walked around the neighborhood and saw some pretty things.

Flowers!!! Real growing beautiful flowers.

Stay tuned for part two! A couple friends and I went to the ocean.
