This is Silas Michael Haugan he was born three short weeks ago. Although everything didn't go as planned with this little bundle of joy, he is remains loved and so beautiful. When Silas was born he inhaled some meconium in his lungs, he has been in the ICU ever since. He is so strong and everyday he gets better and better. My brother and sister-in-law are two of the most caring, loving and strong people I know, he is in GREAT hands. I am so in love with my new nephew I can't even handle it! I was able to take a quick trip to Minnesota over the weekend to meet him..(Finally) I am so glad I got to hold him and look into his eyes and pray for him and just let him know his auntie is here for him and that she loves him. It was very emotional.
